Meet DEODAT All I Have To Do Is Dream de Capella Montis — affectionately called Dobby. His character, his everyday life and the lines he comes from.
The dog behind the name
A heart on four paws
DEODAT — Dobby to us — is an exceptional representative of his breed. Born on 20 July 2024 at the Bavarian kennel de Capella Montis, he is a playful, typey Dalmatian male who wins people over immediately.
In daily life Dobby is a sensitive companion: with strangers he can be a little reserved at first, as Dalmatians often are — but once the ice is broken, nothing pleases him more than a long, devoted cuddle.
Life in the pack
A harmonious home
Dobby has enriched our lives since he was eleven months old. From day one he settled into our pack without friction.
He lives with his companion Nick, an eight-year-old entire Dalmatian male. The two are inseparable. Dobby gets along not only with other dogs but is also very friendly with cats and gentle with children. His balanced temperament makes him an ideal family dog.

What you should know about Dobby
Anyone who knows Dalmatians knows there is a clown inside them — and Dobby is no exception. He loves racing across meadows, scent games and learning something new. In training he is eager, attentive and keen to please.
He is dynamic, athletic and a true running dog with great stamina. Long hikes or sporting sessions alike — after ten kilometres he looks up brightly, as if to ask: “When do we really get going?”
When the day is done, Dobby shows his gentlest side. He is a master of cuddling and actively seeks out his people. To us he is not only a beautiful male, but a deeply loved member of the family.
Origin
Bred with care
An excellent stud dog is the result of careful planning and devoted rearing. Dobby comes from the de Capella Montis kennel in Bavaria.
There he was socialised within the family, shaped in the middle of everyday life and prepared for a long, healthy life. His breeders laid the foundation for his open, playful and friendly nature.

A strong foundation
Dobby's disposition, his frame and his character were there from birth. Both parents are successful champions and convince through health and temperament.
